When a album is released with the attachment of great anticipation and media frenzy, it can sometimes leave you deflated and almost let down when you get to hear the album. This was my concern when I received the album from Maysa. She intelligently planned and appeared in the UK presumably to play some gigs as well as promote the Blue Velvet Soul album and she delivered with flying colors just ahead of the release date. So settling down track by track I can safely say, "DO BELIEVE THE HYPE", this album is nothing short of stupendous ticking all the right boxes. This should take pride in your music collection, and I would go as far as to say be right there at the front ready for easy access. Maysa delivers more so than a lot of the over rated so called R&B stars. In my opinion. Just sheer class. Shame the so called superstars like Beyonce etc etc etc can't deliver this quality. Rant over and as always keep it Soulful and support the artist. Steve King
