Liv Warfield – Embrace Me

  1. This is a class album from Liv Warfield, starts strong and finishes exactly the same. "I Decided" starts the set and you instantly know this girl certainly knows how to throw a song. Great album that has some out-standing moments..... "Groove DJ" being one of many. A Great mid-tempo stepper that delivers a great bass-line and clever lyrics delivered to perfection. The set has a lot of jazz influence mixed with a raw R&B appeal and "Feeling Lonely", is a stand-alone killer ballad with superb piano solo's. The album finishes with a quality cut called "Sophisticated Sista" and that ends what is a great debut album that came out mid September 2006. She really should have followed the album with another because she has a real talent... Shame. She had a single released called "Freedom" that failed to make a real impact and who knows. Hopefully we will see some more of this talented lady in the not too distant future. As always support and keep it Soulful SK
